Weston Youth Baseball is excited to offer our Fall 2026 Development Program, providing players from T-Ball through Majors the opportunity to continue learning, improving, and enjoying baseball throughout the fall season.
Unlike our spring season, which focuses on team-based league play, the fall program is designed around skill development, small-group instruction, and game application. Players will participate in weekly instructional clinics that emphasize fundamentals, while younger divisions will also enjoy Saturday Sandlot-style baseball sessions that provide an opportunity to put those skills into action in a fun, low-pressure environment.
Our Pro Development Model ensures players receive more repetitions, more individualized coaching, and less standing around. By keeping player-to-coach ratios small and instruction focused, players stay engaged while developing confidence and baseball IQ.
Weekday Development Clinics
Each division will meet once per week for a professionally structured instructional clinic focused on age-appropriate player development.
Topics throughout the season will include:
- Throwing mechanics and arm care
- Defensive fundamentals and footwork
- Hitting mechanics and approach
- Base running and athletic movement
- Position-specific instruction
- Teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship
Clinic curriculum will progress throughout the fall, allowing players to build skills each week while preparing for the Spring 2027 season.
Saturday Sandlot Baseball (T-Ball through Minors)
Players in T-Ball, Rookie Prep, Rookie, and Minors will participate in Saturday Sandlot Baseball sessions.
Sandlot Baseball emphasizes:
- Fun and creativity
- Learning through game play
- Rotating positions
- Sportsmanship and teamwork
- Increased player engagement and decision-making
Depending on enrollment, players may be grouped within divisions or participate in combined-age sandlot experiences that maximize playing opportunities and instruction.
Majors Division
The Majors Fall Program will focus exclusively on advanced player development through weekday clinics. Curriculum will be centered around preparing players for their upcoming spring season through higher-level skill instruction, defensive concepts, hitting development, and baseball IQ.
